Who we are
Puraza is an iOS application designed as a digital passport to help fans discover and track visits to various gaming related locations across the globe.
Disclaimer of Affiliation
Puraza is an independent fan project created for the community. The app is completely unofficial and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, or any of their related entities. All character names, location titles, and associated properties remain the registered trademarks of their respective owners.
Summary of our approach
We designed Puraza to respect your privacy while offering a collaborative mapping experience. We do not require an account for basic tracking. Any purchases are handled directly by Apple through the App Store infrastructure.
User submitted information
The app includes a feature allowing users to submit their own photos of the locations they visit. When you use this feature, we collect your first name, last name, and the image files you choose to upload. Before any submission is finalized, you will be prompted to check a box stating "I own these photos and allow Puraza to use them" to ensure proper permissions are granted. This information is used exclusively to credit you and display authentic location photos within the app.
Purchases and subscriptions
All payments to unlock Puraza Plus are processed by Apple. We receive only the necessary confirmation data to unlock your features, like a product identifier. We never receive, process, or store your credit card information or payment details.
Non-personal and diagnostic data
The app may collect non-personal data such as your device type, operating system version, and basic usage analytics. This helps us troubleshoot bugs and understand how the app is being used to improve future updates.
Data retention
Non-personal analytics and diagnostic data are retained only as long as needed for troubleshooting, measuring performance, security, and improving the App. Purchase records are retained as needed for feature access, accounting, and compliance. Emails you send us are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to handle your request and maintain legitimate business records.

If you contact us by email, we will process your email address and any information you include so we can respond. We use this information only for support and record-keeping consistent with this Policy.
Data security
We use industry-standard safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we continuously work to protect the app and the information it processes.
International users
Depending on your location and our service providers, data related to your use of the App may be processed in countries other than your own. We take steps to work with providers that implement appropriate protections consistent with applicable law.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of certain information. Because Puraza is built to collect only minimal data necessary for user submissions, the information we store about you is highly limited.
